"Hi Khanh, I'm sending a few lines of feedback after the course. The course helped me define a single-minded train of thought when planning and limit the general, vague thinking that I might not have been aware of before. This is most clearly seen through the assignments. Only by doing the work do you realize your own problems—knowing the knowledge is one thing, but understanding how to apply it in planning is a different story. Another great thing about the course is the Think Sheet (which carries the whole plan =))). It's like, before making the plan look good or sound cool, you have to define what you want to 'tell,' and the Think Sheet solves this. Throughout the learning process, the Think Sheet helped me remember the knowledge and the flow of what I want to say in the plan. And the last thing I want to say is, this is an honest class with an honest instructor who has incredible patience with 5 quiet students =)). Patiently correcting each of our assignments, thinking along with us based on the information we provided, and the way you walked us through the process made me feel connected and not embarrassed by my mistakes or naivety in the work. Especially on the final presentation day, even though I know my presentation was terrible, you still boosted our morale and encouraged us afterward, trying to adjust and share ways to present more effectively. My final takeaway is: thank you so much, this course is EXTREMELY, EXTREMELY worthwhile. "Hello teacher, actually, it's not that I haven't had time to write, but because I'm in a transition phase to a new position, which is different from what I've done before, so I wanted to experience it first before giving quality feedback. Well, now I have a few things to say, so I'll send the feedback right away. I was the only one in the class who had experience as a Strategic Planner. But then I discovered that strategy comes in many forms, and each business has a different approach, but if there's no solid logical foundation, the strategy might sound good but not be right. I always struggled with this. The client wants one thing, creative wants another, and the head planner wants something else. My tiny self truly didn't know how to persuade—to yield to every request felt wrong (because I'm quite straightforward). Up until the course, after the 2nd or 3rd session, I was still a bit fuzzy on how to apply it. It's easier if you're a complete newbie, but it's a bit harder when you already know some ways of working. But regardless, I decided to immediately apply it to a pitching job at the time. Without even mentioning the result from the whole team, at least my boss approved the flow right away :)) Usually, I get heavily challenged on this part. Then, when working with the big team, the creative team thankfully bought in and said my phrasing was that of a true strategic planner. As you can see, the result is that it's easy to apply, has clear outcomes, and most importantly, I understand the reasoning and direction better, which increases my ability to persuade the team—which was a pain point for me in this role. In this new position, the Think Sheet also genuinely helps me a lot, and gives me a clearer mind when tackling a brief, consolidating findings, and building results. That's what I can feel and clearly see right now. One small point is that the class is quite small, so the learning approach is very proactive and open for discussion. The 'homework' is also what slightly haunts me because solving problems at work *and* solving problems for class is truly... LAAAAAAAAZY 😆 But thanks to that, I learned and applied it immediately. In summary, the effort put into learning is totally worth it, and the important thing that should be repeated often is: IT GETS RESULTS hehe."

"The homework is super hardcore; there's an assignment almost every day. Each assignment is exactly what a planner does. So the process is great training for the job. The assignments are hardcore, and the feedback is just as hardcore. The questions make you want to gasp for air, close your laptop, and go home and work on the assignment again."
